Using a Colon Cleanse with Moringa Oleifera

Moringa Oleifera is a tree that is native to parts of Asia and Africa, but is also cultivated in tropical and sub-tropical locations like South America. This tree is exceptional because most of its parts can be used as food or nourishment for the human body. The leaves, fruit, root, bark, gum, seed, and seed oil can be used in recipes for meals, to purify water for drinking, and directly on the hair and skin to promote health and shine. The tree contains vitamins and minerals that far exceeds the amount that our body would receive from consuming some of our most nutritious fruits, vegetables and protein foods.

Moringa Oleifera is most effective as a tea because the fresh picked leaves are dried naturally, preserving all of its nutritional value. When those leaves are steeped in water to release those nutrients, the full benefits are released into that one cup. Like most beneficial foods, their nutrients are best extracted in raw form or when it has been processed at a temperature less than 140 degrees Fahrenheit. When raw food is processed above this temperature, the nutritional value of the food starts to decline.

The colon is the place in the human body that extracts water and water soluble nutrients from the food that is eaten. The colon will then pass the rest of the solid wastes along to the other parts of its winding tubular tract and finally excrete the solid waste from the body. The average colon is almost five feet long. And for where it is situated within the torso, behind the rib cage, it has to curve and stretch in order to fit. There are four sections to the colon (large intestine) and each section has its own function, but it’s a tight fit. So, the nutrients that are provided to the body from Moringa Oleifera is extracted in the colon and filtered into the blood stream and helps it to efficiently excrete feces through the large intestine.

Moringa Oleifera provides more Potassium than bananas, more Vitamin A than carrots, more Vitamin B3 than nuts, and more fiber than cereal. However, that is just a few examples of the more than 90 different nutrients that one leaf contains. Other benefits of the Moringa Oleifera leaf are its antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. Its presence in the colon resists the growth of harmful bacterial that can often start to gather when rotting waste sits for too long. The colon is long enough to store enough excrement for up to eight meals. But, when the body is provided with the proper amount of vitamins and nutrients then it will automatically work to use them for repairing, building, and excreting.

The loss of unwanted body weight is possible when Moringa Oleifera is used to help nourish the body. It is one of the only plants that has the right combination of amino acids within its leaves to produce a “complete” protein once inside the human body. Protein is used by the body to repair and build lean muscle tissue, build strong bones, and to produce enzymes and hormones. All of these bodily functions requires the body to use energy which burns calories. Moringa Oleifera is also known to increase energy and to boost metabolism. Paired with low to moderate exercise, the effects of the added energy will start to show on the outside. Low to moderate exercise includes walking up to 20 minutes a day, at least three times a week.

As with other natural health supplements, Moringa Oleifera has not been formally tested by the FDA to prove or regulate its benefits or use. Many other health organizations have conducted independent studies and have published their findings.
