Moringa Oleifera is most effective as a tea because the fresh picked leaves are dried naturally, preserving all of its nutritional value. When those leaves are steeped in water to release those nutrients, the full benefits are released into that one cup. Like most beneficial foods, their nutrients are best extracted in raw form or when it has been processed at a temperature less than 140 degrees Fahrenheit. When raw food is processed above this temperature, the nutritional value of the food starts to decline.
